Everyone wants to connect; to have a sense of belonging, of being loved, valued and accepted. As Christians we believe that it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can truly find that kind of connection, firstly a real relationship with God, with each other and finally with our world.
The cross is that point of connection. It is the central reminder that its through the death and resurrection of Jesus that we discover faith, hope and love. Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price so we could know lifes meaning and purpose and the promise of an eternal hope.

The cross also teaches us of God’s grace in our lives, a reminder that we have received so much more than we could ever deserve. We were separated from God, but grace tells us that when Jesus died on the cross a line was drawn in the sand and all that stood between us and a relationship with Him could be forgiven. It is our desire to be a people of grace as we connect with God in worship, connect with each other in community and connect with our world in mission.
We are not perfect, and we live our faith in the middle of life and all its experiences, but a relationship with Jesus brings peace, joy and strength.
