Community

As a church we want to serve and help our community, whether individuals or through specific projects.

Playhouse Playhouse
Every Thursday (during term-time) from 10am - 12pm is Playhouse for parents and children (aged 0-3 years). It is held at the church building - there are toys and activities for the children and it's a great opportunity for parents to chat and make friends. Playhouse has been running for over ten years.
Take a Break Take-a-Break
Need a break. Want to make new friends – then Take-a-Break could be the place for you. This is an opportunity for older people to meet, enjoy some refreshments, play some games and enjoy the occasional trip. Take-a-Break is held at the church building from 1.30pm - 3.30pm every Monday.
Kids Club Kids Club
Every other Saturday (during term-time) there is Kids Club for children aged 7 – 11. It starts at 10.30am and is a time of fun, games and stories from the Bible.

CAP Money
In association with Christians Against Proverty we occasionally run CAP Money courses. This is a simple tool to help people handle their finances. For people who have significant debt worries then there is a CAP Caseworker in Maidstone who is able to provide more in-depth help and support. Find out more about CAP at www.capuk.org

Breakfast Club Breakfast Club
In partnership with Oak Trees Community School the church helps to provide breakfast each morning through out the school year.
Keep Fit Keep Fit
During school term time there are keep fit classes run by a trained instructor. There are three sessions each week held on Tuesday and Friday mornings (from 9.30am - 11am) and on Wednesday evenings (from 7.30pm - 9pm).

Youth Club
On alternate Monday evenings from 7.30pm - 9pm we run a youth club for local young people. There's Pool, Nintendo Wii, Table Tennis, craft activities and refreshments. Its a fun environment and run in partnership with parents from the local housing estate who had a desire to provide a safe space for young people to meet.
